Jon Faddis w/ the Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra!

The Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra's debut concert on April 2nd, 2011
will be fulfilling a void in the greater Metro-Milwaukee area,
presenting top-caliber big band jazz
 in a concert hall setting
(The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's beautiful
Zelazo Center for the Arts). 


The MJO is directed by saxophonist Curt Hanrahan, director of
jazz studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The MJO's 
Performers include Milwaukee's finest professional jazz artists
comprising a diverse group of young lions and veteran performers. 
 
Concert with Trumpeter Jon Faddis. Presented by the Bob Kames
Foundation, in partnership with Jazz Studies at UWM
 
The Bob Kames Foundation Jazz Festival, in partnership with
Jazz Studies at UWM, presents a performance by world renowned
trumpeter Jon Faddis and the Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra.
